MESIL® Amino-Modified Textile Silicone Emulsions

Bottom Line Up Front: High-performance aqueous polydimethylsiloxane emulsions with non-volatile solid contents ranging from 30% to 63%. Engineered to impart exceptional softness, drapability, and elastic hand to cotton (CO), polyester (PES), viscose (CV), and synthetic blends. Select grades offer permanent effects without the need for catalysts.

Industrial Application Scenarios

Targeted solutions based on substrate material and technical requirements:

Textile Finishing (Natural & Blends)
Suitable Grades: TX 6461 E, TX 6401 E, TX 6052 E
Function: Improves sewability, tear strength, and crease recovery angle. Imparts a very soft, smooth, and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics.
Synthetic Fibers (Nylon & PES)
Suitable Grades: TX 6251 E
Function: Delivers excellent surface slipperiness and rebounce. Offers a slightly hydrophobic nature along with a color deepening effect.
Industrial Release & Lubrication
Suitable Grades: TX 6350 E
Function: Withstands up to 50°C emulsion stability. Acts as a mould release agent for rubber/plastics and a high-performance lubricant for yarn and sewing needles.
Personal Care Formulations
Suitable Grades: TX 5103 E
Function: A safe, 30% solid, light blue translucent emulsion highly suitable for rinse and leave-in hair products, styling aids, and bath products.

Technical FAQs

Q: What is the recommended dosage for the padding process?
A: For most TX series grades (like TX 6461 E and TX 6052 E), a dosage of 5-30 g/L is recommended for the pad method. Always conduct compatibility tests prior to full-scale application.
Q: Can these emulsions be used via the exhaust method?
A: Yes. For example, TX 5103 E can be applied at 1-3% relative to the weight of goods, treated at 40~50℃ for 15 - 20 minutes.
Q: Do these formulations require the addition of a catalyst to crosslink?
A: Grades such as TX 6052 E and TX 5103 E are formulated to give permanent softening effects even without the addition of a catalyst.
